Thor: Love and Thunder hit the theatres worldwide on the 6th of July 2022. The film is part of Marvel's Cinematic Universe Phase 4 and received a good reception from fans across the globe. Thor: Love and Thunder premiered at the El Capitan Theatre on June 23, 2022, and was released in the US on July 8th, as part of Phase 4 of the MCU. The movie received a mixed response, with praise for nature and the performances, particularly those of Christian Bale and Natalie Portman, but criticism was aimed at the plot of the film and lack of consistency in the film, with criticism aimed at the film's inferior to Thor: Ragnarok. However, what is more, eye-catching to die-hard Marvel fans is the change that Marvel made in Thor Love and Thunder outfits. Let's take a look at some of the main characters' costumes.

Thor Odinson.

The character of Thor needs no introduction and is the only one of the big three to be in the MCU phase 4. This is the first MCU character to get a 4th solo film as his story continued after the Endgame. Thor previously joined guardians of the galaxy but leaves the group behind when he receives the signal from Sif. Marvel changed Thor's outfit from all black with Red Cape to a much more eye-attracting and comic-like costume with brighter shades of red, yellow, and blue with a bright red Cape. The change is one among the many made-in Thor Love and Thunder costumes. This received a good reception from comic fans and represented a fresh start for Thor himself after the events of Endgame.

Jane Foster.

Dr. Jane Foster, Thor's ex-girlfriend, has been diagnosed with stage four terminal cancer. With inefficient medical treatment, she makes a journey to the New Asgard hoping that Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, which was destroyed by Hela, might come to her aid. Due to a spell, Thor placed on it years earlier to protect Foster, Mjolnir reforges itself to her. The return of Thor's love Jane Foster made many Marvel fans delighted as the character is popular among the fans. However, her character took a completely different role from previous Thor movies as she takes much more of a warrior role as she is worthy enough to lift the Mjolnir. She is seen wearing black and silver armor which turns faded red near the waist. Like Thor himself, she also wears a red cape. Her hand armor is made from red metal. She also wears a silver metal helmet during combat.

Gorr, the God butcher.

Gorr and his daughter struggle in a barren desert. Despite their prayers to their Rapu, Love dies. The god-killing 'Necrosword' weapon calls to Gorr. After Rapu had cruelly dismissed Gorr's plight for help and proceeds to try and strangle him, the Necrosword offers itself to Gorr, who kills Rapu on the moment with it and vows to kill all gods. Gorr is gifted the ability to manipulate shadows and produce dangerous monsters but is in return cursed with impending death and corrupted by the sword's influence on him. Christian Bale's Gorr is one of the most scary-looking characters in the whole film based on his looks. He has the ability to create sharp tendrils and kill any gods including Asgardians which poses threat to Thor and Jane. He wears a white cloth in which he wraps himself and has a bright white tone on his skin with the interior of his mouth being black.

Valkyrie is one of the few characters from this movie who is featured in Marvel's all-time best-selling film 'Avengers: Endgame'. She is a skilled combat expert from Asgard. In Thor: Love and Thunder she wears a black and white sleeveless armor that goes down to her feet. The black half-gloves complete her outfit in this film making it simple, yet suiting her character.

Zeus is one of the most famous mythical Gods from ancient Greece who makes an appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder.  He is the head of all Gods to whom Thor approaches to ask for health. Zeus however fears Gorr and is unwilling to help Thor, thinking that by not helping Thor, he can remain safe and hidden from Gorr in the city. Zeus orders to capture Thor's group to prevent them from exposing the city's location to Gorr, and in the resulting fight Korg's body is destroyed, but his head remains alive. Thor attacks Zeus with his thunderbolt, which Valkyrie successfully steals before they escape. He is seen wearing a Golden sleeveless metal shirt with Golden bracelets on both of his hands.

Korg is a character that made his first appearance in Thor: Ragnarok and since has been on Thor's side in good and bad times. Korg is loved by Marvel fans all around. He wears brown pants with a pair of suspenders that have a white layer of fur around the shoulders. He wears a brown belt with a metallic bull face on the center along with golden metallic knee pads.
